So 2011 is moving by so fast. I thought I would write and update who ever is still following this with things going on in life :D

Next week I will be training for a new position. I will be the backup for the shipping department. I am excited to be able to move with in the company and show them that I am willing to work and learn.

As you can see with my new background the last Harry Potter movie is coming out in 73 days lol. Me and a bunch of friends and going out with a bang and are going to camp out.

Other than that nothing much else is new with me. I am excited for the warmer weather. Hope all of you are doing well. I will try to be better about posting.

! Harry Potter !

As I promised in my last post I have pictures from Harry Potter. We had a blast! A little back ground of the days events. So I am was just leaving school when I get this text from one of our line buddy's. It said there are people that camped out at University 6. I was like wow now that is dedication. They then told me they were going to go and get in line at stadium 8. So I stopped and got some treats and headed to the theatre but not before doing a drive by. LOL

And of course I took a picture.

So this year we were very disappointed with the management. We have been to many premieres and this time they did not let us in to wait by the door (well not at first) They made us wait out side on the side walk. So we made set up camp lol and had lunch.

So finally between 4:00 and 5:00 they start letting people into the theatre to wait in line but this year told us the we could not bring our chairs. Which let me tell you sucked. My butt was so not happy. So as the night went on everyone started getting silly Jami, Madi, Lisa, and Becca started making funny faces with part of a styro foam cup. Madi we now call our own little "worm tail"

Once we got into the theatre someone had found an awesome buy at the D.I. The sorting hat from the movie. He let us borrow it to take pictures. So here is a bunch of everyone getting sorted.

So sorry for the lengthy post and mummblings but we did have a lot of fun.

So as some of you know my younger sister is buying my grandma's house. So of course with any new home you want to make it fit you right. So we have been helping her take down wall paper and tear out carpet. Man is it work. So far we have found a total of 5 different styles of wall paper and in the bed room there was linoleum under neath the carpet in the bedroom. I have pictures but I will have to post them later.

I am almost done with my third week of school and things are coming along. I have recently discovered that I am not a big fan of filing. I know you are probably thinking that is strange just take my word for it it is not fun. I am also doing business math and excel 2007 level 1 just started that one yesterday. I have met some awesome people in the program that have made me feel like I am not new and have been there as long as they have.

On another note. Next week is the much anticipated Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince movie!!! We have ticket for the midnight premiere and have a big group going. Waiting in line has become a tradition for a couple of us. We have done it for all of them. So this year I went on ebay and found a couple of harry potter games that game out with the first movie for us to play while we wait in line. Pictures will be posted next week. You can't believe the costumes some people come in. So look forward to the post next week with the pictures.

As Happy Gilmore said, " Back to school back to school to prove to dad that I ain't no fool." Or something close to that. Yes folks I am officially a student again. I start school on the 22ND of June. I am going to bridgerland in their Business Technology Program. I am both excited and nervous. It has been such along time since I have been in school.

Also I took Tango to Petsmart today for a bath and brush. I love it when he gets done he is so shiny and smells so good. It was quite the ordeal starting off. I got there a little late and then he did not want to go with the girl. He started fighting with me and pulling back and then the next thing I know his collar is off and he is running toward the door. I know you are nervous just reading this right. So I take off after him and almost get him but of course that would be to easy right. Correct. The door opens and he is running through the parking lot. At this point my heart is racing I am scared that I am not going to be able to catch him. Where do you think he went. To the lawn were all the other dogs use it as their own personal outhouse. Whew!! I was able to get his collar back on and back into the store. I will say that maybe I should have taken his body language in to account because I did not like the girl that was grooming him. She did not even call me when he was done.

So that is the most recent update I can give. More to come with Harry Potter getting closer!!!!

I have to say that he does look very cute though!!!!

So on the 25Th of April. Me and some friend met up at the Kate Voegele concert in Salt Lake. It was pretty fun. She sang a lot of new songs from her up and coming album. I am pretty bummed I think I accidentally erased my memory card half way through the night because when I went to load the pictures on my camera there was only like 10 and a video. I am thinking that it was just that night. At the start of her performance she apologised for everything. I guess that their tour bus broke down on there way to Salt Lake. So they did the show with out some of there gear. It was kind of unplugged I guess you could say but still awesome. The Drummer used a make shift drummer and used a tambourine with his foot it was great. Very impressive. Thank goodness for Kassie posting some pictures online I was able to copy them.

So I figured it was time for an update. I am still currently jobless though I am working on getting back into school. Last week I went and talked with someone about getting assistance with school and they told me it looked good but not definite. I go Monday and take my test at bridgerland. Wish me luck! I am looking into the business program there. I am also heading to a concert this Friday. Kate Voegele is going to be in Salt Lake I was unsure at first if I should go and then I thought that I deserved a little fun so I am going to meet up with a few friends it should be a lot of fun. If I can get pictures I will post them. Hope all is well with everyone else. Later !!

So on April 1st I officially became jobless. ATK had a reduction in force and my name was one of the ones that got selected. It sucks is all I can really say right now. It is so strange I have pretty much done the same thing for a little over two years. All last week I kept thinking that I had to get up the next morning to go to work. I am going to sign up for night classes this next week as well I am going to a job seminar. I applied for a job on Friday so all of you who read this keep your fingers crossed for me. Hope all is going well with everyone else. Hope to post something more positive soon.

So last weekend my friend Leslie and I decided to go see a movie and out to dinner. We went to Texas Roadhouse. I had never eaten there it was really good. They have this cinnamon butter that is amazing. So after we ate we had some time to spare until the movie so we went to Fat Cats. I love going there the deal or no deal game is my favorite. So we went and saw Confessions of a Shopaholic. I was not disappointed. It was surprisingly good. Then Saturday we went down and visited with my brother and niece. My brother had hurt his back so we picked up lunch on the way and just sat around and talked it was fun. Sunday did not do hardly anything just stayed home all day Tango may have gotten annoyed with me I made him pose with his stuffed animal. I know I may need help but he loves this stuffed animal. He knows him as Mr. Moose.

So on the 20Th marked a year since I have seen my sister. It was a long hard year and though it still hurts I feel we are all finally starting to mend. I was looking at the program from her funeral the other day and the poem on the back is so amazing. I thought that I would share. I am not sure who it is by it does not state.

He Only Takes The Best

God Saw she was getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around her
And whispered, "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes we watched her suffer
And saw her fade away,
Although we loved her dearly
We Could not make her stay.

So the last couple of weeks have been busy I have had two baby showers a jazz game and a a couple of sister's nights out. So I will start with the sister's nights So last weekend I hung out with my sister and we went out to a movie and dinner. Movie Twilight which was my second time watching it and it wasn't so bad the second time I was not so critical of it ( I still like the book better). Then we went out to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory Mmmm My favorite place to eat. The other sister's night was a few weeks ago and I went with my other sister to see Bride Wars I liked it it was very cute. So the Jazz game was fun. I got the ticket from work and got to watch the game from one of the suits. Some of the girls I work with got to go as well and we got down there a little early so we went to the gateway and went shopping. I found a new favorite shop. It is body works so it you like lotions and smelly good things I recommend it. The Baby shower's were a couple of weeks a part but fun. Elisha is due in March and Robin is expecting this month. I am excited for you both.

So I know it has been a while since I last posted. I have pictures just need to load and fix a few. The holidays were hard this year but I expected that they would. It was good to have my family close by. Christmas eve we went to my Gramsy's house like always and had shrimp and fried rice. This year my cousin brought sushi and it was my first time trying it. It was not bad I could not tell you what kind because I don't remember. We then went home for a new family tradition Christmas eve at our house. See for years we would meet up with my sisters family and open presents so my grandma could see the gift opening. So this year was a little tough. Christmas day comes and my dad opens a gift from my older sister and it was the gift of the year. It was two ornaments one and angel with my sisters picture and the other was the jeweled looking present with my grandmas picture. Though all in all Christmas was good.

I got a few things for my Wii for Christmas and one of them is so much fun. So for those of you that have Wii's I am going to tell you Pitfall is awesome. It is a one person game but it is so much fun. The power went out for a long while on Christmas day. Which made it hard to do much of anything except play cards.

New years was alright. I went to Ogden a girl I work with was having a party. It was a little weird because I knew only her and I know it is hard to believe but I get a little shy it I don't know people. I know this is a long blah! Blah! Blah! post so sorry and I hope you all had Happy Holidays.

So the twilight premiere was Thursday night and a bunch of us went and waited in line to see it. I know you are totally think what troopers. Logan was showing it in two theatres and they were both sold out. I thought that they did an alright job on it. There of course is that occasional spot in most movies that you are like really but all in all the movie was good. They did show a new trailer for Harry Potter and that did make me a little excited.

So The Begining of the month we had girls night out. We went out to eat and then went and saw Mamma Mia! again. So much fun. I have now seen it 4 times and it keeps getting better.

Next outing will be this thursday when we go to the midnight premier of Twilight!!!

This year I did not do anything great! My costume was just out of bed. I know clever. I joined the Garrett clan at the church for trunk-or-treat. The young kids looked so cute!!! We had Little Bo-Peep with her sheep. The older girls were 80's something???? Lots of fun though.

We even had an Angel and a Devil!!

On October 09 2008 my beloved friend, neighbor, surrogate mother, and one of the best Grandmothers anyone could have passed away. She had struggled for the past couple of months with her health. Over the last couple of months I spent a lot of time visiting her in the hospital. She turned 93 in June and though her body slowly went her mind was still so sharp. I hope that my mind will be like that when I get older. For those of you who did not know her. She loved Pepsi, was one of the biggest Utah Jazz fans I knew, she was a Mother of two, Grandmother of Ten, I think she had around 23 great-grand kids, and 5 great-great grandkids. She lived most of her life in Thatcher and I was lucky to have been her neighbor for 29 years. She could recite many poems and stories but there was one that only seemed fitting to give at her funeral. My aunt memorized and recited it in memory of her and did such a great job. It is called HOME by:Edgar A. Guest If you have time you should take a moment and read it.

Good & Bad

So good and bad over the last couple of months. I will stat with the good. My dad had his surgery and is doing remarkably well. I found out my friends are expecting there first child in March!!! I had a Birthday and bought a camera so as soon as I figure out how to use it I will start to post more. Though with all of the good things that are happening my grandma is not doing so well. She has been in and out of hospitals since the end of May. We got her home last Monday just to turn around and have her go back in Tuesday Morning. They say we might be able to bring her home tomorrow. So we will just have to wait and see.

Wow! So Last Saturday I got the new book in the Twilight series. For those of you that haven't read it I recommend it. Sunday I read more than half of the book and Monday all I wanted was my work day to go fast so that I could get home to finish. I must say I was happy with the way the story went. Now, I am just waiting for the first movie.

Wow! What a year.

So I thought that where I am just setting this up I would give a quick overview of this year so far. It started off alright my brother got married and not only did I gain a sister also two nieces. A friend of mine had her baby and she is beautiful. Then came February just after midnight on the 14Th my mom woke me up with news that my sister had past away. She went to sleep and never woke up. It has defiantly been an up hill climb since then with a lot a falls. May comes and I became a Great-Aunt!! Yes my oldest nephew and his wife had a baby girl. She came in a time when we needed happiness. Then June my grandma has a heart attach and we thought we had lost her. In the hospital she made a goal to make it to her 93rd birthday and before that she got her strength back enough to come home to celebrate it! She is getting stronger everyday and I admire her strength and determination. So wow it seems for every good there has been something bad. So now here we are July goodness goodness. My dad has a blocked vain in his leg that requires surgery so just as they are getting ready to set a date up his leg gives out on him and he breaks his ankle on the opposite leg. What are the odds. To end on a good note August is looking good so far. My nephew is getting baptised and my new little niece is getting blessed.
